A longer 45mm handle offers added power and works in conjunction with the three available gear ratios — 6.3:1, 7.2:1 (HG) and 8.2:1 (XG) — to allow anglers to find a model that meets their desired fishing style by working baits slow and methodical with the 6.3:1 option, or with pure speed to cover water quickly utilizing the 8.2:1 gear ratio model.
The SLX 6.3:1 models provide anglers with 12 pounds of stopping power, while the HG and XG models offer 11 pounds of drag — enough to put the brakes on even the most determined trophy fish.
